Ren Zelen graduated from University College London with a degree in English Literature and subsequently spent a year as an intern in the Documentary Features Department of the BBC before moving to Hong Kong, where she gained a Masters Degree in Eighteenth Century literature at HKU before going on to teach there and at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Latterly she edited academic books for Oxford University Press. She now lives in London and is the author of the post-apocalyptic sci-fi The HATHOR DIARIES and the web serial ‘Pitchfork Red’ – a ‘Quantum sci-fi Noir’ plus short stories. She is an enthusiast of books, music, movies and science.
