Book Art – Old Fashioned 3D Books

Back in the good olden days, the only kind of 3D books were called pop-up books and were aimed mainly at children.
Nowadays, these have become art and do not pop-up anymore as one is meant to look at them and not touch them.

Here below are a few sample of these new popped up books, called book sculptures, by Su Blackwell, a sub-genre of the new art form that accompanies the emergence of digital books as some begin to view print books as an obsolete medium.
