Another writer passes one million sales for self-published eBooks. After selling over 200 000 eBooks in May, John Locke has now joined the club of over a million sales. A thriller writer, who share his ePublishing tactics on in his book  How I Sold 1 Million Books in 5 Weeks! he intends to publish a new novel next month.

J.K.Rowling turns self-publisher: J.K.Rowling released her decision to self-publish Harry Potter books directly from her website, therefore cashing in 100% of the sales revenue, cutting out both publishing houses and middlemen such as Amazon.

That moves will go a long way to eliminate the stigma against self-publishing. If other big names follow her lead, it might also herald major changes in the book publishing industry.

Google’s eBooks now looking for affiliates to boost sales: Expanding on the sales of books Google began last February after launching its Android Market Web store, Google is now actively looking for affiliate marketers to expand its sales. Affiliate referral fees are undisclosed and only after signing up with Google Affiliates Network (which can only be done after signing up  for Google Adsense) will the new affiliate be able to know what fees will be agreed upon. These depend on the affiliate agreement and the value of the eBook.
