Humor for Writers – Interview for a Day Job

John the Writer was having a tough time finding a job what with the current economic problems. He couldn’t even get an interview. All his previous jobs had been short-lived as he spent the day thinking about his novel and paying little to no attention to the job at hand.

After a long long time, he finally secured an interview. Needless to say, he arrived at the interview intend to impress and get the job.

After a few questions that went quite well, John can feel this job is as good as his and he begins to relax .

To close the interview, the interviewer said, “In this job John, we need someone who is responsible.”

“I’m the one you want,” John replied proudly. “At my last job every time anything went wrong, they said I was responsible.”
