As a writer, I usually have part of my mind active dissecting any book structure, pacing, position of the narrator, relevance of subplots and a billion other writing techniques while forcing the rest of my mind to actually enjoy the book.
Indeed, the same applies to movies. Now, until recently, I thought that made me a freak and kept quiet about it. However, accidentally coming across the article copied below made me think i might not be the only one in that situation.
