The Pottermore Saga Continues
Amazon is following Google eBook tracks and currently working a deal with J.K. Rowling that will enable Kindle owners to download Harry Potter books directly on the device. After Google announcement last week, it seems Amazon’s wish to participate in selling the eversion of a series that sold over 450 millions print books is a determining factor. Amazon is still negotiating with Rowling, so the issue is not yet solved.
Pottermore is going on-line in October this year, so Amazon has little time to close the deal. So we wait and see, maybe magic will ride with the amazon after all…

A study by Affinity’s American Magazine (AMS) underlines distinct generational diffferences in the profiles of eReader, tablet PC and smartphone owners.
AMS tracks the adoption of digital technologies and mobile device use among American adults.
eReaders, owned by 12% of the US population, are Boomers favorite. They are 19% more likely than the rest of the population to own one. Yet, as 19% of Americans intend to buy an eReader within 6 months, this might change.
Tablet PCs, owned by 8% of the US population, are Gen-Xers number 1. This makes them 16% more likely than the remainder of the population to own one.
Smartphones, owned by 42% of the US population are Millennials definite best. They are 28% more likely than the remainder of the population to own one
