Excellent News for Self-Publishers – Finally, We Are Getting Recognition

 

A mere 5 years ago, self-publishing was called vanity publishing and perceived as the epitome of arrogance by wealthy wannabe writers who have the time and the money to invest in the futile pursuit of seeing their name in print.

Since then, the advent of digital publishing and its corollary self-publishing has propelled the self-publishing option to the headlines, and is gaining more respectability every day.

Now, even central libraries are joining and organising book festival for us, self-publishers.
