Humor – Answer to a Rejection Letter

Dear Mr. So and So,

Thank you for your letter of December 15th. After careful consideration I regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to publish my book.

This year, I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field of outlets it is impossible for me to accept all refusals.

Despite Publishing XXX’s outstanding catalog and previous experience in rejecting manuscripts, I find that your rejection does not meet my needs at this time. Therefore I will initiate publication with your company immediately.

I look forward to seeing my book in your catalog and wish you every success for your further rejections.
