Humor for Writers – The Literary Agency

“What time does the agency open?” the writer on the phone asked.
“Nine A.M.” answered the agent. “And what’s the idea of calling me at home in the middle of the night to ask a question like that? Is it nor enough that you have been pestering so much I had to tell the guard at the entrance not to let you in anymore?”
“Not until nine A.M.?” the writer asked in a disappointed voice.
“No, not till nine A.M.!” the agent said. “And you will not get an appointment at nine A.M.”

“Who said I wanted an appointment? You never give me one anyway,” the writer sighed sadly. “I just want to get out.”
